Anthem’s semi-annual Go Green event is Saturday, Oct. 7. It’s your chance to get rid of everything from old computers to drugs or documents that need shredding. Participants must show proof of Anthem residency. Goodwill will be at the event accepting books, clothing, toys and other donatable items. Here’s a summary of recyclables you can and can’t bring, a list that Anthem Community Council says is subject to change:

Among acceptable items:

  • Computers, cords, printers and other peripherals
  • TVs, stereos and related equipment
  • Batteries (any type)

  • Shreddable personal documents (five banker boxes total)

  • Microwave ovens
  • Anything with freon
