The results are in from Anthem’s elections for members of the HOA boards and the broader Anthem Community Council (ACC).

Newcomer Brad Sundquist and incumbent Tim Fyke beat out four other candidates and will serve two-year terms on the five-member Anthem Parkside Community Association (APCA) Board of Directors.

Unopposed candidate Darrin Francom will retain his seat representing Parkside on the seven-member ACC Board of Directors.

The new board members will take their seats in April.

Country Club HOA

Unopposed candidates Henry Barrie and Stephen Champion were elected to fill the two open positions on the five-member Anthem Country Club Community Association board.

Carolynn Hiron won a close race to represent Country Club on the ACC board. She’ll replace outgoing board member Rick Kesselman.

The new board members will take their seats in April.

The Village HOA (Condos)

The Village at Anthem will seat five newly elected board members to its HOA board of directors: Gina Richard, Kathleen Shemanek, Lisa Purcell, Steve Neuman and Ron McGraw. They will be seated in June.  The Village’s seat on the ACC board was not up for election.

ACC oversees maintenance and operation of common areas, including the community center, community park and civic building. The three separate HOAs are distinct from ACC and enforce homeowner rules and maintain pocket parks and other common areas.
